There are so many little things that make Christmas feel like Christmas.
The recipes you pull out every December. The decorations collected over the years. The same Christmas movie you’ve watched more times than you can count. Board games around the table. Music playing from the kitchen. Staying out a little later than usual to go and see the lights.
They’re ordinary parts of Christmas while we’re living them…
But year after year, they become the things we remember. The traditions we keep, the people we share them with, and little pieces of our story.
And those are the things I want to photograph…
Storytelling has always been at the heart of the way I photograph people.
So when I thought about offering Christmas sessions this year, I knew I didn’t want to create another mini session where everyone comes to the same set for the same photographs.
I wanted to offer something that felt more like me - and more like you.
A little window into your Christmas. The people you love, the traditions you’ve made your own, and all those magic moments that make this time of year so special. Something real to look back on when this Christmas has become another memory…
Maybe it’s baking something you make every year.
Decorating your first tree together.
Making gingerbread houses with the kids.
Wrapping presents on the lounge room floor.
Your annual Christmas movie and takeaway night.
A family board game or christmas puzzle.
Or heading out after dark to find the best Christmas lights.
